Our First Tomatoes!

 

We finally are being able to see some of our hard work pay off! Earlier this week, we decided it was time to prune the tomato plants. By pruning the tomato plants, we are helping the individual plants focus all of their energy and nutrients on a select group of stems, rather than the entire plant. In the process of pruning the tomato plants, we found our first two tomatoes! How exciting!
