Management Practices- Neem Oil

 At the beginning of October we begun to see aphid populations increasing on our okra crops. After talking with classmates and Dr. Zhao, we decided to spray dilute neem oil on all infected plants. We applied neem oil twice, waiting a week in between applications. After the first week we noticed a huge decrease in the amount of aphids on our crops. I was super impressed with the efficacy of the neem oil. With regular pruning/maintenance of our raised beds we have been able to keep parasite load very low.
