Intercropping Outcome

 The intercropping system we used turned out to be an interesting learning process on staggering harvests and how to manage the labor. As harvest protocols differ from crop to crop, making sure that each is harvested efficiently and on time is a challenge which must be addressed by all farms using these procedures. With that said, the salad greens bed and Kole crops turned out exceedingly well. The system of intercropping marigolds within our strawberries, peppers, and nightshades was an amazing success that I would definitely use again in the future. Intercropping is an important way to get the most out of your growing area and benefit the soil and ecosystem as well.
