Survival of the Fittest

Our third bed features a wide variety of leafy greens. Since we were planting our leafy greens late in the fall, we decided to implement survival of the fittest in this bed. We transplanted about three ~3 week old starts for every one crop we wanted to harvest, and pruned the bed regularly as the season continued. Some of our plants had very noticeable differences in growth rate!
